Written as a piano-accompanied song in response to knotweed and bemoaning the indefatigable, undefeatable bindweed in Hugh’s garden. Once the saxophones were added we decided to discard the piano and just let them wind round and overpower the whole song. The album was going to be called Humankind but then the bindweed invaded

I’ve got bindweed in my garden It grows nearly everywhere I dig it up and burn it
